Tropical
Waterlilies
These are
really subtropical and will grow all along the east coast and inland
Australia where night temperatures can drop below zero on some winter
nights.
These
waterlilies hold their blooms up well above the water. They tend to
be very free flowering.
The only
Blue and Purple flowering waterlillies are tropicals, but those are
not the only colours tropical waterlilies are available in as there
are also pink, white and yellow flowering tropicals.
As they
grow and flower in relation to the warmth of the water they produce
the best display for the second half of the flowering season, often
flowering right up to the edge of winter.
They start
a little later than hardy lillies so it is best to order them from
November to February.
NOTICE
Tropical lilies and many miniatures are currently dormant they will be available again in late spring or early summer.
