2021 Lotus Mail Orders Have Ended

The brief 2021 lotus mail order season has now ended. All lotus are now out of stock for mail order on our online store.

Lotus will be available for mail order again next year.

This happens because our lotus plants are now too big and fragile to send in the post at this time of year. However it is also because for many varieties our available stocks for mail order have now sold out.

In the mean time lotus are now available for retail purchase as potted plants at our nursery, and as long as stocks last should remain available until around February/March 2022.

The first of our lotus are now available for mail order this season.

More may become available over the next few weeks but much of the range is already in stock.

Lotus mail order season is short and plants will likely be too big to mail in just a few months.

Lotus are not yet available as potted plants at the nursery for retail sale, they will be in a month or so. But once they are available they will be available all summer beyond the limited season for bare rooted lotus in the mail.

Lotus Mail Order Season Has Begun

The majority of our lotus range is now available for mail order. Mail order season is relatively short and usually ends after just a few months when the plants are too large to post and its best to place orders and plant your lotus early anyway.

Lotus plants at the nursery will take a little longer to grow on and will be ready as advanced potted plants for retail at the nursery some time in the next month or two depending on seasonal conditions.

Mail Orders Closing For Winter Next Week

Mail orders of items on the web site will be disabled shortly with the last orders being sent out on Monday 24th of April.

We close mail orders during Winter as the majority of our plants do not handle transplant and division well during their dormancy period.

Mail orders will open again early next season as plants begin to grow again in Spring.

Depending on seasonal variation typically temperate water lilies and early spring water plants will be available early September, or sometimes even late August, lotus are usually available some time late September and tropical water lilies more towards late Spring or early Summer.

We will post news items here as items become available again.

Lotus Mail Order Season Ending

Lotus plants for mail order are running out of stock and remaining varieties will soon be too large to send in the post this season.

Depending on demand and seasonal factors all remaining lotus will be listed as out of stock for mail order some time over the next several weeks. If you plan to mail order lotus this season you should place your orders while you still can.

However the end of lotus mail order season is also the beginning of the prime season to purchase advanced lotus plants at our nursery. Potted lotus at the nursery are already established and available for sale this season and will be until late summer/early autumn next year. They will likely begin flowering on site some time around December.
