Visiting Wallis Creek Watergarden Nursery

Wallis Creek Watergardens is in NSW in the Lower Hunter Valley twenty minutes from Cessnock and the Pokolbin Vineyards.

We are open Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm, August to April. We are also happy to open on week days by appointment.

Our nursery specialises in plants alone, and does not supply pond building equipment, fountains, pumps or fish. However, there is a gallery of hand crafted pottery for the house and garden, artworks and gifts.

Our nursery is open all year. However waterplants generally go dormant over winter. So the gardens are most beautiful in Spring for the temperate lillies and lousiana iris and Summer when all the lilies and lotus are flowering.

Wallis Creek Watergarden has gardens and grounds suitable for bus trips for garden lovers, or for a relaxing break on a holiday to the vineyards.

We are always happy to give advice about growing waterplants and pond building, and almost always have a new pond or landscaping project under construction so the gardens are always changing and growing.

We strive to colour match our website photos to the true colour of the plants, but nothing beats seeing them in person.
