Visiting Wallis Creek Watergarden Nursery

Wallis Creek Watergardens is in NSW in the Lower Hunter Valley twenty minutes from Cessnock and the Pokolbin Vineyards.

We are open five days a week from Friday to Tuesday between 9am to 5pm, all year except for July. We are also happy to open on other days by appointment.

Our nursery specialises in plants alone, and does not supply pond building equipment, pond liners, fountains, or pumps.

The gardens are most beautiful in Spring for the temperate lillies and lousiana iris and Summer when all the lilies and lotus are flowering. However many flowers continue on into April or May and only in the coldest part of the year are their no waterlillies in flower.

Waterlilly and Lotus flowers open through the middle of the day so while our business hours are longer we recommend you time your visit between 10am and 3pm for the best opporunity to see the display.

Wallis Creek Watergarden has gardens and grounds suitable for bus trips for garden lovers, or for visit on the way to the vineyards.

We are always happy to give advice about growing waterplants and pond building, and almost always have a new pond or landscaping project under construction so the gardens are always changing and growing.

We strive to colour match our website photos to the true colour of the plants, but nothing beats seeing them in person.
