We’ve just added a new “Bulbs” category to the online catalog, with a range of various flowering bulbs we grow on site at the nursery.
In addition Iris virginica is currently on sale at a discount price. (Note: the featured image on this post is not Iris virginica it is Jacobian Lily)
It is currently the time of year that we are deactivating most of our mail order plants, especially all lilies and lotus, for the winter season during which they are dormant and unlikely to survive travel in the post.
Some plants like water irises and various native water plants are winter hardy and will remain available for purchase.
The deactivated plants will become available again as they become ready, starting with temperate lilies and early water plants in Spring.
The earliest of our temperate water lilies have now been listed as in stock and available for sale in our store!
A selection of some of the newly available stock is currently being temporarily shown in our featured products sliders, but there are others in the temperate lilies section of the site.
Louisiana Iris have now been cataloged, and some may shortly be made available, though we do not normally recommend planting them at this time of year as you might miss or delay flowering.
The next category to be filled out will be our various miscellaneous water plants many of which will be early season plants and will be listed as available and in stock the moment they go up.
