Mail orders closing for Winter

It is currently the time of year that we are deactivating most of our mail order plants, especially all lilies and lotus, for the winter season during which they are dormant and unlikely to survive travel in the post.

Some plants like water irises and various native water plants are winter hardy and will remain available for purchase.

The deactivated plants will become available again as they become ready, starting with temperate lilies and early water plants in Spring.

Edible plants added

The edible plants section of the catalog has just been filled. Many of the entries are already listed as available.

This has also resulted in a number of gingers being added to the ginger section and a number of existing plants being added to the edible plants category.

The gingers are currently listed as unavailable but will probably be listed as in stock very soon, along with additional entries of ornamental gingers in upcoming weeks.

Miscellaneous Plants Added

Miscellaneous plants have been added to the online catalog in several categories, mostly filling out Bog Plants, Pond Plants and Native Plants.

Many of the entries are already listed as available and you can order them straight away.

There will be more plants added to these categories over time, we have merely completed a first wave of early and popular varieties.
